His work sits at the intersection of performing arts medicine, vocal physical therapy, dance medicine, touring production care, and performer rehabilitation. Andrew spent just under a decade in London, working with PhysioEd Medical Ltd in the Harley Street medical community and supporting performers across more than 40 West End productions, as well as television and film work with the BBC and Universal. He later worked in Melbourne’s arts precinct with Performance Medicine Pty Ltd and lectured in anatomy, physiology, and dance health at the Victorian College of the Arts. Now based in the United States, Andrew has worked across Broadway and national touring productions, supporting performers in demanding professional environments where injury prevention, recovery, vocal performance, movement, and schedule sustainability matter. His US credits include national tours and productions such as Beetlejuice, Hairspray, Les Misérables, The Book of Mormon, Ain’t Too Proud, Frozen, A Beautiful Noise, Peter Pan, Come From Away, and The Lion King. He has also worked with concert artists, recording artists, opera performers, dancers, singers, actors, acrobats, musicians, and touring companies. Alongside his clinical work, Andrew has trained, led, and mentored American physical therapists preparing to work with Broadway and national touring productions. He has taught in clinical, conservatory, and performing arts settings across the UK, Australia, and the USA, with a focus on performer-specific care, injury prevention, voice, dance, anatomy, physiology, and high-performance rehabilitation. His areas of specialty include vocal physical therapy and vocal rehabilitation, dance and performing arts medicine, orthopedics and sports medicine, manual and manipulative therapy, clinical conditioning, functional training, Pilates, dry needling, electrotherapy, and injury prevention for performers. Andrew originally trained at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.
